“When I look back, 20 years of my Realty career sitting today, it gives goosebumps to realise that the best days of my work life actually vests during 2006-2008 when I worked with DLF.
Mr. Surajit Roy was heading East India operations in DLF, stationed at Kolkata office. He made things so easy to work hard to perfection. Advising, framing, right supervision and meticulous execution are some of his core strengths.
Foresight to gauge the future and predicting what next used to be a flawless insight. Under his leadership we have delivered best revenue results and got full accolades from the Corporate Office. In fact, for many of us this era became the stepping stone to grow at our next professional level.
His another strength is his intellect and sense of humour that has always captivated us. I have hardly seen him under stress, rather I have learnt how to overcome life stress with positive vibes and cheerful approach. His oration and articulation is also strongly notable which made a deep insight among us.
His simple living style with bare minimum needs has always kept him satisfied as he welcomes anything that comes in life with a smile and vigour. Travel is his another passion, Roy Sir wishes to explore people and places.
We were lucky and blessed to spend best golden years of our lives. We left that best era but can’t leave the best memories working with Roy Sir. You are a fabulous mentor who understands correctly what his employees need and when.
I cherish and carry things that I have learned and when tension mounts I think of him to seek inspiration – Handling toughest situations with a lightest smile.
Roy Sir, we all admire you!!”
